Le 23 mars prochain, Robinsongs et Cherry Red Records publieront le premier volume de l’intégrale de Level 42, les hérauts de la fusion jazz-funk britannique.
Compilé par les spécialistes Paul Wallace, Paul Waller et Simon Carson, The Complete Polydor Years Volume One 1980-1984 propose 10 CDs renfermant les albums originaux du groupe enregistrés entre 1981 et 1984, sans oublier les singles, faces-B, versions maxi et raretés diverses, le tout accompagné par un livret rédigé par le journaliste Daryl Easlea (du magazine Record Collector).
Le groupe du bassiste-chanteur Mark King repartira sur les routes en 2021, une année qui marquera également la parution du deuxième volume de cette anthologie.
