Funk★U Magazine is proud to announce the release of its first collector’s picture book dedicated to Michael Jackson. Forever Michael takes us into the youth and the teenage years of a young and gifted artist through 48 rare and never-seen-before pictures shot between 1971 and 1977 collected in a 52-pages collector’s book.
Displayed in full-spread, every one of those pictures tells the story of the life of a lonely boy about to become the biggest superstar of all time. This book offers a singular take on the crucial period when one is supposed to build his own identity. Moreover, those black and white pictures allow us to understand better who the real Michael Jackson was.
Forever Michael is available with English, French and Japanese text. It will also be available in two formats starting mid-June (Pre-orders will start May 16) :
50 Collector hand-numbered boxsets (size : 27×27 cm). Each book will be available in a white case. Each boxset contains a vintage black and white photo print in A5 format taken from the book photo selection.
450 limited Collector books (size : 21×21 cm)
Copies will be shipped in June in a cardboard package sent by registered mail.
