Le warm-up show de D’Angelo à l’Apollo Theater de New York a eu lieu samedi soir à New York. L’auteur de Black Messiah et The Vanguard, son backing-band comprenant, entre autres, Jesse Johnson, Pino Palladino, Kendra Foster, Chris Dave à la batterie (à la place de John Blackwell) et une section cuivres ont donné un concert d’environ 100 minutes au cours duquel ont été interprétés de nombreux extraits de Black Messiah et de Voodoo (voir setlist).
En attendant le début d’une tournée européenne qui débutera jeudi à Zurich, découvrez les premières vidéos de « Sugah Daddy », « Really Love » et « Untitled (How Does it Feel) »
